So, here's my first POI (point of interest)for this week. Let's start off with something simple, like quantom physics:D But seriously, it's hard to get your head around, but SO COOL, especially this particular experiment, which is called the double slit experiment. I don't think I could explain it very well, but I found a video on Youtube that is good.
Is your mind blown? It should be. I heard someone say on a tv show once that if you arn't completely baffled my quantom mechanics, you havn't understood it properly.
And I think this particular experiment is one of the most fasinating, because not only is it saying something can exist in two places at once, but it's saying that matter, the very stuff we're made of, is aware. ASDfsdfjsdh~~~ I love it:B This is definately a branch of science I'd be interested in working in when I'm older.
My science teacher showed us this a week or two ago. My brain hurt. But I do love stuff like this. We are infact made up of lifeless atoms... or are we ;-)
ReplyDeleteIkr! I don't know whether it's creepy or brilliant. I'll settle with both.
ReplyDeleteI love this sort of stuff, we did it in physics a while ago. It's so interesting, it reminds me of a physics programme I watched called 'Horizon' and it was discussing things like this :)
ReplyDeleteHorizon is a good programme ;D there was one on the other day that was about what makes us clever ;D
ReplyDeleteand yeah i've seen a video abit like that before ;P
